For years how the groom and his party have dressed has been quite unified.
The traditional look of a simple nuetral morning suit combined with a cravat or tie has been at the top of every grooms wish list as this has been considered a wedding tradition. This tradition will continue but what we like to do here at Always You Photography like to offer up some alternative options from now and then.
The main trend we want to talk to you about is that of bow ties.
For many years bow ties garnered quite a negative image and was considered more of an upper class fashion piece as well as appealing to the older generations only.
Luckily today this image has been shaken off largely thanks to a little UK show called Doctor Who. With Matt Smith's Portrayal of the doctor he was rarely seen without his bow tie and remember what the Doctor said "Bow Ties are Cool".
Currently blues are so popular as a choice of wedding suit, in particular electric blues. However a trend fast approaching is that of light coloured suits. The powder blue suit above is very unique and would make the groom feel really special - after all why shouldn't a groom look and feel amazing in what they are wearing.
By avoiding wearing a wasitcoat you can concentrate on different accessories - the guitar lapel pin is just so cut and combining it with the mini succuclent really make the suit pop.
If your groom is resistance to even wearing a suit, all they need do is wear some smart trousers and a shirt and make sure you couple this with a bow tie and a pair of braces. This is a particularly popular look with the world of the "Hipster" weddings - You don't even need to have a long shirt for this look to look cool!
Most Bow ties can be bought as clip ons but don't worry you will be able to tie a bow tie properly thanks to the video below.
I know it's going to help me a lot in the future - so why not send it to your groom and his party here so they don't get flustered on the day!
