Have you consider how you would like to be framed on your wedding day?
For some of you this thought probably warrants the response:
"What on earth are you talking about?"
It sounds complicated but actually it's a simple idea.
As photographers we are always looking for new creative approahces and are able to implement certain techniques to create wonderful shots of your special day.
"Framing" is simply a method where we want to work out a way of creating a focal point on you, the couple.
In the image above the bride and groom have been placed in the background and the photographer has used the beautiful floral bushes in the foredground to create a frame that surround the couple.
By making this blossom go out of focus the photographer has pin pointed the couple and kept them sharp, thus creating an effect where the viewer is instantly drwan to the couple.
This type of image is brilliant, espeicially at this time of year when nature is in full bloom - but it is not just natural structures where framing techniques can be implemented, you can use all sorts.
Below we took this shot by using the carvings in the wooden lattice work in a chruch and we were able to create this stunning heart like frame around the bride - this is one of our personal favourite shots.
So when you meet with your photographer ask them if them could potential do some of these techniques, we know we love trying these techniques and if you are interested in having such shots on your day why not contact us here to arrange a consultation.
