How are you wearing your hair on your wedding day?
Have you thought about whether you will be having hair accessories?
At present we have just begun collecting together ideas and styles for our bridesmaids - can I just say we were slightly unprepared for how many options there are available!
Thankfully we had some great advice when we popped into Bridezillas in Bristol.
Our top tip when considering any of this stuff is to go and talk to professionals who know what they are on about - it really helped us to hear the tips and tricks for what accessories suit what looks and how each accessory will fit in different hair types.
Tiaras are probably the easiest bridal accesory to put into place, however they are less fleixble when it comes to the hair style you can have. If you are anything like us and are slightly unsure how you and your bridal parties hair will be styled you may need to be more flexible with your approach - this is where hair vines and combs come in.
A hair comb can be used to the side of the head or even at the back, you can even couple it with a veil if you wish. We found that the blingier the comb the heavier it felt, so take this into consideration when opting for ths - if you have thin hair you will struggle to keep it in place even with hair pins!
A hair vine is the most flexible accessory as you are able to wrap it around a particular part of your hair or head itself. Whether you wear it through the crown, down through a braid, around the forehead or across the top as an alice band the options are limitless.
Above a video by LinziJay.com shows you how to attach combs and vines if you are going to be applying yourself - it really is an invaluable watch!
