Jess & Dave live together in Bristol; Dave a plasterer by trade and Jess a keen water skier! They met when Dave was doing some work at Jess’ home, and one day when coming off the lake while water skiing, Dave proposed while they were travelling on the boat back to the jetty!
What was key for both of them was that their day had a real focus on bringing their families together as the start of the next chapter in their lives together! I was so pleased that they got to have the day they dreamt of and that I got to be a part of what was such an important day for their new family.
Jess and Dave’s day also marked our first wedding at the fab Egypt Mill! Right on the edge of the Cotswolds and Gloucestershire, Egypt Mill really is such a unique venue, with such a range of different styles all in one place! An old rustic mill, with beautiful beams, country gardens and a river running through the grounds, we got to play with a whole host of different aesthetics – from rustic, through to English country garden to industrial chic throughout the day!
Jess opted for a vintage-style lace dress, and the day was styled with bright pops of colour added through the floral arrangements. The attention to detail was just perfection! We hope you enjoy seeing just a few of the gems from their day!
